I feel that that the Dr’s / Nurses communicated well despite the the volume of people coming in to A&E

Suggested improvements
Arrive at A&E at 2.30pm and had various tests completed within 2 hours but then had to wait 21 hours for the results sitting in a chair despite having heart surgery 2 weeks prior to this new emergency, test results need to come back quicker.

Review of Labour Ward
9th May 2024

Only good service i received in labour ward. 27th april around 8pm I admitted in queens hospital bad thing started in triage ward i spend all night walking in corridor even 4 bed available in induction ward but staff don’t care. Next day 6am morning they transfer me in induction ward they give me dirty bed seems like someone just left shoes and food on bed i don't have option so i stay all day. More improvement required in Coral ward there is no coordination between day shift and night shift. 2 time urine samples given and informed midwife but they don’t care and night midwife so rude and she ask for urine sample at 1.30am because you not provided on day time their excuse. One day i sleep in broken bed after inform they check and replace immediately in day time. I experience All bad thing in induction ward, coral and after c section monitoring ward staff interested on politics not on care. All ward aware my issue because triage midwife complain to head about induction ward bed is not ready induction ward give excuses unexperienced staff she joined before 4 month ago and she don't know how to make bed in all night they not make 4 bed. When i meet midwife carissa and sophie dorman in labour ward i change my perspective. Both are very kind caring and professional hospital need more staff like this all ward need to learn from her how to delivered good service.

Suggested improvements
Required professional staff and management.

Everyone's overworked cannot expect a good service when the organisation is so run down in the first place

Suggested improvements
Get rid of administration , stop creating non essential jobs in the NHS, Allow the hospital to manage itself with with a long term plan for funding it

Review of Outpatient Team 2
9th May 2024

Everyone involved in my treatment was excellent

Suggested improvements
There was no need to attend this appointment to be told nothing was wrong. I had to take an afternoon off of work, arrange for my son to be collected from school as my parents were away and my husband on shift. My daughter had fainted that morning and I had to leave her alone for 2 hours whilst I came to an appointment that took 2 minutes and could have been solved with a quick phone call. I took up the doctors vital time and another more needy patient will have had to wait longer. I was promised a phone call within 2 weeks of the lump removal, after 6 weeks I rang and was told someone would ring me back, I then got several texts and emails calling me to an appointment 4 days later. I then spent 4 days thinking I was going to be told I had tongue cancer, instead of a 2 minute phone call saying all fine. The treatment was excellent but the admin is a terrible mess

Appreciate the NHS is under constant pressure but feel you cannot leave patients for hours and hours without telling them what is going on. In my case it took 18 hours from entering the hospital to exit.

Suggested improvements
Just talk to people
